Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recently booked RM Plumbing and Electrical Ltd to fit a new electric shower after the old one needed replacing. From point of enquiry right through to the end of the job the service was faultless. After initial enquiry, contact was maintained via WhatsApp to ensure I was purchasing a shower to the right specification which met our needs. Booking was then quick and easy. On the day of fitting, the service provided was thorough, neat and very professional. Would highly recommend, and will not hesitate booking again in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a bad leak and needed to replace our boiler. Ryan called around, lovely man, we had a chat and he gave us an honest assessment of what was needed. The leak got worse and we asked if it was possible to bring it forward. They moved heaven and earth to fit us in and worked all over a weekend while we were away. Leak fixed, new combi boiler, all old tanks removed, everything clean and tidy. Cannot recommend them enough. Thanks for all your hard work.

Phoned the office this morning and I Ryan out to fix a plumbing problem with my boiler not heating and honestly couldn’t fault them. They were quick to respond, turned up on time and got straight to the issue without any messing about. Excellent service

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our ensuite bathroom completely renovated by Ryan and the team in Cardiff and it’s honestly one of the best upgrades we’ve made to the house. They transformed it into something that feels modern, practical and much more spacious.

They took care of everything from start to finish. Removing the old bathroom, reworking the plumbing, installing the new shower and suite, tiling and all the finishing details.

They were easy to have around, kept disruption to a minimum and always left things clean at the end of the day. The whole process felt smooth and well managed. Would highly recommend them!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We chose RM Plumbing and Electrical in Cardiff for a complete new bathroom install and it was definitely the right decision. From the initial quote through to the final finishing touches, everything was handled professionally and with real attention to detail.

The plumbers stripped the old bathroom back to bare walls and rebuilt the space from the ground up, covering plumbing, electrics, tiling, heating and decoration. Each stage was completed carefully and to a high standard, and they clearly take pride in their work.

They were punctual, respectful of our home and left the place tidy at the end of each day. The whole process felt well organised and stress-free, which made a big difference during a renovation.

The end result is a stylish, high-quality bathroom that’s far better than we imagined. We’re extremely pleased with the workmanship and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them locally.

What is Power Flushing?

Power flushing is a deep and thorough cleaning process for your central heating system that removes sludge, rust, and debris buildup.

This procedure will help improve your boiler’s efficiency, extends its lifespan, and ensures your radiators heat up properly.

How Do I Know If My Heating System Needs Power Flushing?

Here are some common signs that your heating system may need power flushing include:

Cold spots on radiators, especially around the bottom
Boiler or heating system is making noises
There’s discoloured water when bleeding your radiators
Your boiler is frequently shutting down or requires resets
Cloudy tap water
You’ve noticed higher energy bills due to poor heating efficiency

How Long Does a Power Flush Take?

A full heating system power flush usually takes around 4 to 8 hours, depending on the size and condition of your heating system. For larger systems, it may take a complete day.

Will Power Flushing Improve My Heating System’s Performance?

Absolutley! A power flush removes sludge and debris, allowing hot water to circulate freely, heating your home or business more effectively.

This results in:

Quicker heating radiators
More efficient boiler performance
Reduced energy consumption and lower bills
Quieter operation with fewer breakdowns

Is Power Flushing Messy?

No, power flushing is a controlled process. Our engineers use specialist equipment to flush out your system without causing any mess in your home.

How Often Should I Get a Power Flush?

We recommend power flushing every 5-6 years or whenever you notice performance issues with your heating system.

If you have a new boiler, major manufacturers usually recommend power flushing before installation to prevent existing sludge from damaging the system.
